Inspired Journey Summit
The Inspired Journey Summit is an event where students in grades 5-12 showcase projects and products they've created in their Pathway experiences (Discovery Groups, Exploration and Capstone Courses). It's a celebration of learning, similar to a science fair, where students demonstrate their work and share what they've learned.
The Inspired Journey aims to provide a consistent learning experience for students throughout their time in Eden Prairie Schools. The summit allows families and community members to witness the impact of this approach on student learning and outcomes. The goal is to celebrate learning achievements in the same way that sports, music and theater are often celebrated.
Who can attend?
- All families, community members and partners are invited to attend the summit to observe students' presentations.
- Fifth and Eighth grade and capstone students will be invited to present. All students will be completing their presentations and displays during the school day. The only expectation out of school is if a students wants to continue working on their project to take it to the next level.
Attendees will see students sharing their learning experiences through demonstrations of their learning. This provides an inside look at how Eden Prairie Schools are implementing the "Inspired Journey" and incorporating authentic learning and student choice.
