History of Eden Prairie PeopleFest!
PeopleFest!: A Community Celebration of Culture is a collaborative community project. Started in 2018, PeopleFest! has grown each year to become a signature event in the Eden Prairie Community. Current and past collaborators include the City of Eden Prairie, Eden Prairie Schools Community Education, Eden Prairie Community Foundation, Islamic Resource Group, Academy for Young Leaders, Eden Prairie Human Rights and Diversity Commission, Eden Prairie Chinese Association, India Association of MN, Eden Prairie Library, Pakistani American Society of Minnesota, Kaleidoscope Teens and others.
With the help from the Eden Prairie Historical Society and the City’s Human Rights and Diversity Commission, the PeopleFest! Committee developed a guide to assist residents in discovering the richness of the Eden Prairie community.
